Engineering evidence / controlled bottle drawing
A volume label is not enough to design bottle handling. Submit a revision-controlled bottle drawing and identify the physical samples that match it before guides, grippers, starwheels or change parts are confirmed.
The drawing package should identify overall height and diameter, body geometry, neck finish, support-ring geometry, empty-bottle weight, base shape and revision status. Each physical sample should be traceable to that drawing and to the cap it will use.
Drawing control / bottle evidence
Treat the drawing, sample and SKU identity as one controlled evidence set.
| Required field | Evidence to submit | Machine decision supported |
|---|---|---|
| Overall envelope | Height, maximum diameter or width, base geometry | Guides, clearance and transfer stability |
| Neck finish | Dimensioned finish and thread detail | Rinser grip, cap match and handling |
| Support ring | Diameter, thickness and position | Air-conveyor and neck-transfer contact |
| Bottle construction | Material, empty weight and critical body features | Handling sensitivity and sample review |
| Revision identity | Drawing number, revision, date and SKU | Change control and sample traceability |
| Physical evidence | Labeled bottle and matching cap samples | Validation against the drawing before design freeze |
Reference values require project-specific confirmation. A complete drawing package enables engineering review; it does not by itself guarantee compatibility.

Dimensioned bottle drawing with units and revision. Neck-finish and support-ring detail. Empty-bottle weight, material and base geometry. Labeled bottle and cap samples that match the drawing.
Bottle schedule and drawing revisions reviewed. Samples received and unresolved dimensions. Included format parts and adjustment scope. Change-control rule after design approval.
Use samples identified by SKU and drawing revision. Observe marks, tipping, jams and transfer stability at agreed conditions. Record any approved adjustment or replacement part against the revision.
