Zone 02 / product filling

Normal-Pressure Water Filling Section

Normal-pressure filling is a reference platform for still water, but stable performance depends on the treated-water boundary, bottle geometry, operating conditions and an agreed test method.

Answer first

Specify the product-water supply and reference bottle together. A quotation should state where the supplier scope begins, whether a product-water tank or pump is included, and how fill level, output and leakage will be judged during FAT.

01

Suitable for

Projects that match this page decision

  • Non-carbonated purified, mineral, spring or drinking water
  • PET bottles approved for the selected filling and transfer method
  • Projects with a defined treated-water supply condition
02

Not suitable for

Boundaries that need a different platform or review

  • Carbonated water or beverages requiring pressure filling
  • Hot-filled juice or tea without a separately engineered platform
  • Projects expecting one reference speed across all bottle sizes
03

Inputs required

Evidence to provide before confirmation

  • Water type and treatment status
  • Supply-tank, level, pressure and piping boundary
  • Bottle geometry and target fill presentation
  • Reference output and test duration
04

Machine function

What happens at this machine or decision boundary

  • Approved bottles are transferred into the filling carousel.
  • Product water is delivered through the confirmed normal-pressure filling arrangement.
  • Filled bottles leave at a controlled level for immediate cap placement.
05

Configuration decisions

Options that must appear in the proposal

  • Product-water tank, pump and piping inclusion
  • Filling-valve and station configuration
  • Operating speed by bottle format
  • Drainage, cleaning access and hygienic boundary
06

Interface requirements

Upstream, downstream and utility handovers

  • Define the last treated-water component before the machine.
  • Confirm pipe size, connection, control signal and supply stability.
  • Coordinate filled-bottle transfer with capping and outfeed conditions.
07

Buyer risks

Questions to close before order

  • Unstable level caused by an undefined upstream supply
  • Bottle deformation or splash at unsuitable speed
  • Comparing output figures without matching the reference container
08

FAT checks

How to verify the agreed basis

  • Measure actual output and saleable bottles for the agreed period.
  • Inspect fill-level consistency and leakage under steady operation.
  • Test start, stop, starvation and restart conditions.
09

Quotation scope

What the commercial offer should state

  • Filling principle and number of stations
  • Product-water boundary, tank, pump and piping scope
  • Reference bottle and output basis
  • FAT measurement and acceptance criteria
