Factory readiness / site inputs

Installation, Utilities and Maintenance Space

Machine dimensions are not the same as installation space. The site also needs operator access, maintenance clearance, cap loading, utility routes, drainage and safe bottle flow.

Answer first

Submit the available area, ceiling height, access route, line direction, floor condition, voltage, frequency, phase and utility connections before the general arrangement is approved.

01

Suitable for

Projects that match this page decision

  • New factory layouts
  • Existing-line replacement projects
  • Buyers preparing a site-readiness checklist
02

Not suitable for

Boundaries that need a different platform or review

  • Using catalog machine dimensions as the final footprint
  • Ordering voltage after control-panel production
  • Ignoring delivery access and rigging route
03

Inputs required

Evidence to provide before confirmation

  • Available length, width, height and access doors
  • Voltage, frequency, phase and local electrical rules
  • Water, drainage and compressed-air availability
  • Floor, lighting, ventilation and maintenance access
04

Machine function

What happens at this machine or decision boundary

  • The layout places operating, service and utility zones around the machine.
  • The utility schedule defines machine connection points and design basis.
  • The site plan assigns foundations, drainage, cable and pipe routes.
05

Configuration decisions

Options that must appear in the proposal

  • Machine orientation and bottle-flow direction
  • Panel location and cable-entry route
  • Maintenance clearance and lifting access
  • Who supplies local services and installation labor
06

Interface requirements

Upstream, downstream and utility handovers

  • Civil, mechanical, electrical and control boundaries
  • Machine anchoring and floor-level tolerance
  • Drain collection and safe operator movement
07

Buyer risks

Questions to close before order

  • Insufficient door or rigging access
  • Wrong voltage or frequency
  • No clearance for cap loading, cleaning or maintenance
08

FAT checks

How to verify the agreed basis

  • Check nameplate electrical data against the order.
  • Confirm connection drawings and utility schedule.
  • Verify supplied manuals show safe access and service points.
09

Quotation scope

What the commercial offer should state

  • Final general arrangement and connection list
  • Power and utility basis
  • Site work, lifting and installation exclusions
  • Commissioning prerequisites and buyer responsibilities
