Quality evidence / fill-level diagnosis
An uneven row of bottles does not establish the cause or the delivered quantity. Define what is measured, control the sample conditions and ask for repeatable evidence before accepting the filling result.
Not necessarily. Internal bottle geometry affects the relationship between height and quantity. Check the required quantity using the agreed method as well as the visual-level criterion.
Specify visible liquid height, delivered volume or net mass separately. Bottle geometry can change apparent height. Record the approved measuring equipment, bottle reference and observation point; a photograph alone cannot verify quantity.
Use identified bottle lots and one format. Record time, machine position where traceable, speed, product-water condition and whether the run was steady or restarting. Keep the measurement method and sampling point constant.
Separate a repeatable position pattern, scattered bottle differences and start/stop observations. These guide the supplier's investigation; they do not prove a failed valve. Preserve the original readings before any authorized adjustment.
Write the sample plan, target, allowable variation, reject treatment and retest conditions into the technical agreement. Retest corrections under the same documented basis. Send observations and open questions with your machine enquiry.
If net mass is used, document the agreed tare method and whether the bottle, cap and other packaging are included in each reading. A change in empty-container mass must not silently become a change in reported water content. If mass is converted to volume, record the agreed density and temperature basis rather than assuming that grams and millilitres are interchangeable. Identify the instrument, its suitability for the agreed limit and the check status. These are fields for a reviewed test method, not a calibration procedure or a declared net-content compliance result.
Keep the original sample IDs, individual readings and run conditions when a result fails or remains inconclusive. Name the open question, the authorized reviewer, the proposed correction and what will be held constant for the retest. Do not delete low readings, pool restart samples with steady production or present only an average that hides individual results. Compare the new run with the original on the same documented basis and obtain a recorded disposition. If the measurement method or bottle lot changed, explain the change instead of calling the result a direct before-and-after proof.

What the commercial offer should state
Not necessarily. Internal bottle geometry affects the relationship between height and quantity. Check the required quantity using the agreed method as well as the visual-level criterion.
Agree a project-specific target, measurement method, sampling plan and acceptance limit with the supplier. A catalog image or an unexplained accuracy percentage cannot establish that limit.
Identify them as restart samples and record stop duration and operating conditions. Compare them with steady-running samples separately and agree rejection and restart acceptance rules before testing.
